Things picking up for the summer

So this week has been pretty kind to me. I've gotten a handful of stuff that I was needing and a few things I wanted as well! I got Charby thanks to Roza and Extzy as well as Lec, Synth and Glacion. Roza is awesome, I don't know what motivates that little JP to help us so often and get so little in return, but he does, and when WW throws him a bone, it's a pretty big one (E Body). Anyways, thanks to Roza. a bunch of us have Joyeuse now!



Poor turtle, alas... you get no love. And he isn't getting any from me either. I'm getting pretty close to being called for A Body I think and everytime he spawns HQ and we get, I'm at work. Everytime I'm home from work and camping 7 windows over 3 hours... he spawns NQ. GRRRR.



We've ramped up on our Sandworm camping and gotten quite a few Antares Harnesses and Avalobn Breastplates. Hell, they even got Lambton Worm this week and got full drops (grats Synth on Ancient Torque). I was at a run that dropped Antares and White Tathlum, which I got!


In that pic it also shows my new Uggy Pendant! Thanks Alsh, Sondogg, Lec, and whomeevr else got their pendants.


Unclaimed Khimairas are a welcomed sight. Too bad Khimaira doesn't drop anything but a stupid title. Oh well, PLDs can continue to QQ.




I've got some other stuff done that could be "blog-worthy" (I guesss). Mauller hit 69BRD and Cuecue is still at 52SCH. My Campaign funds have been completely obliterated and I'm just not finding the time to get my ass out to the past and mind numbingly fight campaign mobs for AN's. Still, if I want to keep camping SW and DI I need to get some AN's cause running around with 13 AN's just aint gonna cut it.

We started a new Salvage group as well. I'll see how that goes. Mauller could certainly use some Morrigan's stuff. I just wish I was able to start this SP back when I had Maller since he was like 2/3 on 2 pieces and had about 8 other pieces he was 1/3 on. We'll see how it goes though, they want to go around 12:00-12:20am EST which actually fits into my work schedule. As for now I'm just spamming Golden Savage with Mauller's SMN to get some people some easy ass points and maybe rank up Cuecue in the process.

And finally... Step 1) Acceptance

1st King body! (took 5years!)

I finally got me a king body! Never got on on Gorokai on Odin, never got one on Nivaud on Bismarck... took me 6 months but I finally got one on Mauller on Cerberus. The other morning I stayed up real late and XP'd only to pass out on my couch after signed a Vermillion Cloak (NQ booo). Got a skillup tho on Errant Cuffs so that might be promising moving forward.

I awoke to a tell that was Aspidochelone! Get here! So I checked thinking, "Damn, this popped while I was asleep and got killed" and sure enough, it was up still and being fought. I quickly OP'd to Cape Terrigan and found out that it ate up a smaller LS who tried to low man it and we got it once they wiped. I got there and it was at about 75% and we took it down no problem.



I was called for W Body because I had W and A bodies down on my wishlist and looking at the group of people their... I was probably up for either body drop. W dropped and I got to lot it and quickly rushed over to Sandy to get it uncursed.




That was a nice start to to a long day :)

I've had other goings on, like killing KB (no D Ring... ofcuz)


Also did some of those Beadeaux [S] and Castle Oztroja [S] NMs, the second will need a full entry unto itself, but here's what we fought in Beadeaux [S]


Didn't drop the torque, tho it was a fun low man (and woman) fight. More to come on the Castle Oz NM next time...

I got Cuecue's 75SMN her horn as well as slob Mauller his horn as well.



Finally, after camping SW and realizing I had no Allied notes, I picked up doing Campaign again, but I still get /facepalm at some people who are DRKs with stun who never learn



And on a final note... how things should be:

6th time's a charm

I've beaten ACP 2x before but it was the 6th time I tried it I finally won and was able to get the body that I wanted. I wasn't happy with the Pet:Crit Attk/Double Attk+ stat mostly because it never proc'd. Well this time (hopefully the last time) I got the Royal Redingote with acc stats.


We absolutely destroyed it without breaking a sweat with PLD/RDM, RDM/DRK, RNG/WAR, COR, SMN, SMN. All aga's were stunned, PLD wasn't charmed once... Just a smooth run all around. I was glad too because the previous 3 runs were ugly losses. Anyways, now I can be done with that fight (unless I suddenly wanna try to get the body for BLM or RDM...).

I haven't really gotten much else in terms of gear. I got A Feet to drop for Mauller and A Hands to drop for Cuecue but neither of those pieces are super high priority pieces. I did claim a Sandworm on Wednesday and we got nice drops!



Greats Wolf on harness and Sondogg on tatlum. I've been leveling Cuecue's RDM to 31 and SCH to 28. Mauller finally got his Freeze II capped so now BLM is officially done. Full INT, Elemental, Enfeebling, Ice/Thunder Elemental Magic and Burst II/Freeze II. Now I can choose to finish SMN (need about20 merits or so to finish it out) or start back in with RDM (need about 40-45 to finish).

FFXIV new just dropped and looks amazing, but I think the last thing I need in my life is another addictive MMORPG...

I've been really really busy lately with work recently and went away for the Memorial Day weekend. I'm hoping to get back to some fun camps and get Cuecue's SCH and Mauller's BST some much needed levels. On a side note SE has taken their sweet ass time sending me Mauller's security token... which has gone from interesting to annoying.

Alot has happened since I lasted made a real post. Lost an account, got 2 accounts, may get the lost account back... been on vacation, and am now jumping back into the world of FFXI.

So I came back to the game a few months ago and obtained a very nice account named Maller. The account had 5 jobs at 75, I took WAR from 70-75 myself to make it 6 jobs. The SAM gear was nice, the SMN gear was nice, and the merits were nice. Well the account became inaccessible back on March 26th, and I went and got a new one... named Mauller. The jobs are fewer but the gear is better. Merits are about the same and neither account had any real high level crafts on it so that's a wash.

Well supposedly I should be getting back Maller so I may soon have to decide which one I want, since both are good but I don't want to spend close to $40 a month on 2 accounts plus my crafting/PL account. So that's my only quandry.

I moved from working 12am-8am over to working 4pm-12am. This new schedule has cut down on ALOT of my events. Mostly everythign takes place around 7-9pm so I have been unable to do alot of stuff I want to do, i.e. Salvage, Nyzul, ANNMs, ENMs, Dynamis, Limbus, Einherjar... the list can go on and on about all the stuff I'm missing (including kings that fall in that timeframe). I've been trying to login after work but soimetimes I either just don't have the energy to put in 4-5 hours in the middle of the night and when I do, some other ppl in the shell don't have that energy. I'll have to see how this pans out for me...

I did the Crystalline Prophecy missions and was part of the 2nd group to finish it on the server. (my aspect ratio was fucked up when I took the picture, I know!)

I decided to get the SMN body:

Then I was like... this double attack and crit don't ever show up, so I tossed the body and redid the final ACP fight for someone else... and got zilch. Seems I had to climb aagin and get all those 12 items so about 2 weeks later I manned up and went and did it myself. So now I have my orb and I need to fight the final ACP fight for a 3rd time so I can get the right stats. Pet: magic acc/attk bonus +7, Pet: acc/attk+15. So hopefully I can sneak my SMN in there for a quik run and get this body piece.


Now I'm feeling lazy so I'll just post pictures and comment on them later :P
