Salvage or die

Seriously, if I can't find myself a steady Salvage group soon I'm just gonna quit FFXI... Absolutely almost all the best pieces in the game are from Salvage and the only people looking for Salvage SP are stragglers, and six to seven stragglers a good SP does not make. Regular SP's refuse to take in a straggler, so you got a bunch of seasoned people saying, "Thanks, but don't ask me for a spot".

Breaking point

Did Jailer of Loves last night, 3 of em. First pop was Torque and Novio, third pop was Torque and Novio. My pop? The second one, dropped neither a torque nor either earring...

A month's worth of time, about 1mil spent, lost about 5k xp on 2 different characters for what... nada.

Last week we did 5 Kirins. I wanted W Legs or Osode. Every Kirin but mine dropped either Osode or W Legs. I got nothing out of it and even when the LS passed out the 2 Osodes that went to LS coffer, I didn't get one.

God is telling me something here...

Camped this on Phoenix for like 3 weeks, went 0/6, camped it 1x for 16 minutes and went 1/1. Thanks to Threshold for his ToD and his TH4.

Dalfuckingmatica

If I weren't both on vacation now and sloshed I'd post about getting my Dalmatica. After playing Gorokai, Nivaud, Ultrabum, Maller, Mauller, Cuecue and Tokester I have that which has eluded me for so long... Now I can quit someday knowing I reached at least one of my goals.



Now for gaiters and chapeau... and if any of you are truly bored you can google Gorokai and Nivaud to see my sordid past.
